Imagine someone has written a book about you! In about 100 words write the blurb for it (the blurb is what people will read on the back cover).
Here's the one I just wrote:
"Maria Portas had every thing going for her, until as a child she experienced sexual abuse from one that was trusted, her grandfather. This became the secret that created a roller-coaster of fear, depression, self-harm and abuse. Over 30 years, it manifested in many forms. Until one day the hand of God released her, He picked her up and embraced her. At that moment Maria knew she was nothing without Him. At that moment a transformation began of the most remarkable life you could ever imagine. The miracles taking place in Maria's life will have you begging God to reveal Himself to you .....He is there waiting."
This is a powerful exercise to know where you are at. To speak about yourself in a way that will attract others to you (as you want to captivate the audience). And to get clear about where you are going, your expectations for your life. You want to fill these pages with amazing people and events!
I would love to read your blurb! Share it with others here or on my blog: http://www.mariaportas.blogspot.com
Maybe I'll even buy the book!!!!
Make it an awesome day,
Maria Portas.
